WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
There may be slight variation or imperfections from time to time between products as each garment is unique and handmade, and that's half the charm. At this time, we do not offer refunds or exchanges.

While we do everything we can to avoid customers receiving a faulty item, unfortunately it can happen. Garments can be exchanged or a refund given with proof of fault provided by the customer.You must contact us at maakuthebrand@gmail.com within 48 hours after receiving your order if your garment is faulty. If you are located in Bali, we are happy to fix your garment for free anytime.
We cannot be held responsible for return shipments that are lost in transit, so please make sure that you obtain tracking information for your return and insure your package appropriately.

We believe that by cutting down on wasteful and unnecessary returns we can do our bit to help the environment and look into ways of making your MA’AKU experience even better!

What many online shoppers may not know is that shipping returned goods contributes to greenhouse-gas emissions. There are untold externalities in terms of packaging and resources, just to move your return to our warehouse.

In some cases, packages can be delayed due to matters outside of our control. If your parcel is delayed, please email us and we will get back to you as soon as we can. MA’AKU is not responsible for lost or stolen packages if confirmed delivery. The customer accepts full responsibly for any loss or damage to these items. The customer is responsible if their package gets redirected to MA’AKU headquarters marked as unclaimed and does not offer free shipping back to the customer

If you do not provide a correct number then you may miss out on important shipping information.Please provide all information in English (our systems do not accept characters). If you provide unreadable shipping information then there will be delays for you.If your order is returned because of this incorrect information we cannot take any responsibility.If you order more than one item from multiple warehouses the shipping costs will reflect this total if your order is below the free shipping threshold.

If any products come damaged due to shipping please contact us immediately with a photo of the damaged item. Garments can be exchanged or a refund given with proof of fault provided by the customer. Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the goods so we can review the matter.
Note: Handmade products do have variations in size and style. This is a natural occurrence and the nature of handmade. No two designs will be exactly alike giving you a lasting one-of-a-kind product to treasure for years to come.
